ABOUT
Hello! I’m an actress, voice over artist and tarot reader. I was born in Cornwall, UK where I grew up in a converted Chapel a few feet from the sea. My playground was the beach, the cliffs and my imagination.
Aged six, I entertained an unknown guest with a lengthy and elaborate puppet show.
That guest turned out to be Norman Stone, who directed me in a film shot in Cornwall later that year: “A Different Drummer”, the BBC biopic of Cornish poet Jack Clemo. From that point forward, I knew my life would involve much more of this magical work.
I trained at Central School of Speech and Drama in London, received a BA from Sarah Lawrence College in New York and spent several years working on stage in NYC before moving to Los Angeles. I now divide my time between Los Angeles and the UK.
Spiritual growth fuels the foundation of my life and work. I began reading Tarot in my twenties in NYC and after many years of practicing community support among fellow artists, healers and travelers, I eventually began reading Tarot for a larger community. There are so many ways to be of service and I am passionate about empowering others with a connection to their own inner wisdom. Check out that part of my work here.
Besides enjoying a fulfilling life as actress, voice over artist and tarot reader, I love my husband - artist and poet Caley O’Dwyer - reading, languages, travel, cooking and being in nature.

VOICE OVER RECORDING & COACHING
Although I had years of technique and training as a foundation for my voiceover career, I had to learn the hard way how to set up an industry standard home booth and learn engineering and editing so I could compete in today's market. So I teach others to do the same without breaking the bank!
“I was amazed at how much I learned in just one session. Cerris really took me out of my own mental constraints, increased my range and got me more into the mind of my character. Cerris is highly recommended for anyone that's seeking some acting coaching. She's gifted at it.”
Tomek, performer
“Cerris has taken our son’s VO career to the next level in all areas: confidence, skills and range. She also helped us set up our home-recording area and taught us how to record auditions. My son’s agent is over the moon and says we’re now on the short-list for network clients!!”
Nina, parent
“I took a coaching lesson with Cerris regarding understanding Audacity to do a voice over audition: I highly recommend her. She is caring, compassionate and has in-depth knowledge on how a professional voiceover should be performed. I would recommend her sincerely to new and seasoned professionals.”
